Tell us what does it mean to you to won such an award for writing about your own experience? Strzalko: It isn’t the most prestigious award, but it is an award nonetheless. I didn’t think I had any chance of winning, so when I received an email letting me know that "The Sun Loves Every Planet" had won I was very happy about it. 2) In "The Sun Loves Every Planet", what is your favorite poem in it? And, why did you chose your book to be poetical? Strzalko: I don’t really have a favorite poem. I think all of them were good enough to be included in the book, or I wouldn’t have included them.
