Interview With: Gennaro Illiano

 1) Welcome to AllBookReviews! We'd like to know more about the story behind your book "Mindset And Life Transformation". Why you decided to write this kind of book?

I wrote the book "Mindset and Life Transformation", after a very challenging experience in my career. I had to close my business, due to a financial crisis, and I was facing some disputes with clients who wouldn't pay me. In addition, I faced some disputes with suppliers, who had a negative impact on my projects, and made it difficult for me to get paid by clients. These challenges can be very demoralizing, and made it easy to fall into a negative mindset.

However, I've learned that our mindset is something we can control, even when external circumstances seem to be working against us. By focusing on developing, a grown mindset, and finding opportunities to learn and grow from our struggles, we can turn even the most difficult challenges into opportunities for personal and professional transformation.

I hope that the lessons I share in "Mindset and Life Transformation" will be helpful to others, who are facing similar struggles, and that they can find hope and inspiration in my story.

2) In the book, you make a list of different types of mindset. Which one is yours? and is there a type you'd like to have?

After overcoming numerous challenges, I have developed a growth and relevance mindset, which have helped me stay adaptable and relevant in today's fast-changing world. However, I am aware that I need to strengthen my business mindset to succeed in entrepreneurship and leadership.

To me, having a business mindset means having a passion for serving others, and making a positive impact on the world, while running a successful business. By loving what you do and serving others with excellence, you can pave the way towards success, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

One of the biggest advantages of having a business mindset is possessing the qualities required to help others, including effective problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Moreover, by working hard and smart, you can achieve financial freedom and independence - a key goal of many entrepreneurs.

In short, developing a strong business mindset takes hard work and dedication, but the rewards are immeasurable: a thriving business, a sense of purpose, and the ability to make a positive difference in the world.

3) Your debut book was a guide one. Would you like to write a fictional book, a short story, dive into the world of fantasy, or you prefer to stay at your spot and write self-help books?

While I do appreciate various genres of writing, I have a deep passion for writing self-help books. I believe that these types of books can have a profound impact on people's lives, and I enjoy the challenge of researching, distilling, and presenting complex ideas and concepts in a simple, accessible way.

I also believe that people, who have faced difficult periods in their lives, can bring a unique perspective, and value to the self-help genre. Through their personal and real-life experiences, they can offer insights, tools, and strategies that are deeply relatable and meaningful to others, who may be going through similar struggles.

4) What is your all time favorite book, and who is your favorite author?

Choosing a favorite book or author is never easy. But, if I were to pick one book, that has had a major impact on me, it would have to be "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George S. Clason. I find this book to be an ideal blend of personal finance advice and self-help strategy, as it offers practical yet timeless lessons on building wealth and creating a fulfilling life.

In terms of authors, I believe that it's important to draw from a variety of sources and perspectives when it comes to personal growth and development. That being said, some authors who have been particularly influential for me are Robert Kiyosaki, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and Maxwell Maltz. Each of these authors brings a unique perspective and set of tools to the table, and I have learned a lot from their writings.

Overall, I believe that reading is a powerful tool for personal growth and development, and I am always on the lookout for new authors and books to add to my reading list. Whether it's exploring new ideas or discovering new strategies for success, I find that reading opens up a world of possibilities, and helps me to continue growing both personally and professionally.

5) Our final question would be about your future projects. Are you working on another book? And, is there any advice you'd like to say to the young people concerning mindset?

For me, the most important project for my future is to reclaim what I have lost, and take my life to a higher personal and professional level. I relish the chance to learn more, and challenge myself to grow in all areas of my life.

In terms of advice, I would strongly recommend that others focus on their personal growth every day, make it a priority, and commit to it in a consistent manner. No matter how small the progress may be, it will accumulate and bring about great results. I also feel that surrounding oneself with positive people is crucial, as they can serve as pillars of support during challenging times.

While having big dreams is important, it is equally important to remain grounded and realistic as you pursue those dreams. One should always try to stay self-aware, observant of oneself and others, and learn to adapt to the changing circumstances.

By prioritizing personal growth, and adopting a grounded and self-aware approach, anyone can achieve great success and happiness in their personal and professional lives. I hope this advice can help others, as much as it has helped me.

Tell us what does it mean to you to won such an award for writing about your own experience? Strzalko: It isn’t the most prestigious award, but it is an award nonetheless. And, why did you chose your book to be poetical? Strzalko: I don’t really have a favorite poem. I think all of them were good enough to be included in the book, or I wouldn’t have included them.
