Book Review: Silver Stripes On Lavender Letters by Jean-Paul Haddad

In his debut poetry book, Jean Paul Haddad, a Lebanese author, introduces himself through poems and proses, that reflect his sad and happy days, his deep thoughts and his true feelings.

"Silver Stripes On Lavender Letters" narrates love, friendships, relationships, remembrance, and many other memories, which the author has undertaken in the last couple of years.

Also, the author expresses his own views upon success, justice, and modern life. In one of his poems, Haddad emphasizes the beauty of nature as a getaway place to relax and be free, away from the crowded cities.

Other poems and proses illustrate how the author sees himself, his character growing up from childhood, and all the stages he's been through, to the present time: how he looks at things in different perspectives and different sides.

Even more, the book contains different images taken by the author himself: pictures of natural landscapes in Lebanon, flowers, sculptures, and many more. These images capture memorable times for the author.

The book is like an opening diary, that let you know the deep emotions of the author, along with a simple writing style, which makes you enjoy the whole book.

Every reader will find many common experiences in this poetry book collection. They would relate to each poem or short prose, which could reflect their own thoughts and emotions.

"Silver Stripes On Lavender Letters" is highly recommended for all poetry lovers, and to all those who love to read and explore other's life journeys.

Interview With: Gennaro Illiano

 1) Welcome to AllBookReviews! We'd like to know more about the story behind your book "Mindset And Life Transformation". Why you decided to write this kind of book?  I wrote the book "Mindset and Life Transformation", after a very challenging experience in my career. I had to close my business, due to a financial crisis, and I was facing some disputes with clients who wouldn't pay me. In addition, I faced some disputes with suppliers, who had a negative impact on my projects, and made it difficult for me to get paid by clients. These challenges can be very demoralizing, and made it easy to fall into a negative mindset. However, I've learned that our mindset is something we can control, even when external circumstances seem to be working against us. By focusing on developing, a grown mindset, and finding opportunities to learn and grow from our struggles, we can turn even the most difficult challenges into opportunities for personal and professional tran...

And, why did you chose your book to be poetical? Strzalko: I don’t really have a favorite poem. I think all of them were good enough to be included in the book, or I wouldn’t have included them. There are many different themes in the book, and the poems vary in length quite a bit also, so it is difficult for me to compare them to each other. They are all unique, and they contribute to th...
