Interview With: Jared Givens

 1) Welcome to All Book Reviews! Glad to have you with us. First question is: What makes you write a guide to motivate people and share your own experience?

I wanted to give an unmotivated generation of young adults something to read and apply. As a young author, sharing my life lessons felt like the right thing to do.

2) You say in your book that one must be unrealistic. How can you elaborate more this idea? And, do you think these huge unrealistic dreams can be accomplished in bad circumstances?

2. Being unrealistic means setting goals that scares you. When someone tells you to “be realistic” it is like putting a ceiling on your growth. We must take more calculated risks that are just outside our comfort zone. Yes, these dreams can be accomplished in bad circumstances. I have found that these circumstances bring the best out in people.

3) Also, in your book, you're addressing the young to improve themselves, and follow their dreams. Is there a specific book, or movie, or anything else that motivated you to chase your dreams?

Interestingly enough, the movie Rango was my favorite as a kid. Rango is launched out of his comfort zone and takes on a new identity that he must maintain. Through conflict, he adjusts and rises to the occasion. He ends up being a legend and not a “nobody.” Certain quotes stayed with me after watching. For example, “No man can walk out on his own story.” I used this as motivation during trying times.

4) If you want to add one more chapter for your book, what would you call it?

I would call it Escape. We are constantly distracted by the noise of today combined with the fear of tomorrow.

5) Since we're welcoming a new year, we'd like you to tell us what you've learned from 2022, and what are your expectations for 2023?

This year forced me to be stronger mentally and physically. I accomplished a few things that I never imagined in the beginning. I took a few risks that led to success. With the opportunities I have, I can always improve. There is no limit. I expect to take over 2023 and reach new levels as an author.

Interview With: Gennaro Illiano

 1) Welcome to AllBookReviews! We'd like to know more about the story behind your book "Mindset And Life Transformation". Why you decided to write this kind of book?  I wrote the book "Mindset and Life Transformation", after a very challenging experience in my career. I had to close my business, due to a financial crisis, and I was facing some disputes with clients who wouldn't pay me. In addition, I faced some disputes with suppliers, who had a negative impact on my projects, and made it difficult for me to get paid by clients. These challenges can be very demoralizing, and made it easy to fall into a negative mindset. However, I've learned that our mindset is something we can control, even when external circumstances seem to be working against us. By focusing on developing, a grown mindset, and finding opportunities to learn and grow from our struggles, we can turn even the most difficult challenges into opportunities for personal and professional tran...

Tell us what does it mean to you to won such an award for writing about your own experience? Strzalko: It isn’t the most prestigious award, but it is an award nonetheless. I didn’t think I had any chance of winning, so when I received an email letting me know that "The Sun Loves Every Planet" had won I was very happy about it. 2) In "The Sun Loves Every Planet", what is your favorite poem in it? And, why did you chose your book to be poetical? Strzalko: I don’t really have a favorite poem. I think all of them were good enough to be included in the book, or I wouldn’t have included them. There are many different themes in the book, and the poems vary in length quite a bit also, so it is difficult for me to compare them to each other. They are all unique, and they contribute to th...
